The Rhetoric Society of America Graduate Chapter at the University of South Carolina presents the 2023 Carolina Rhetoric Graduate Conference. The conference encourages you to consider Free Play as both a concept and an academic practice.
What would you do if you had an academic Free Play? Waht do you believe would benefit from a larger discourse platform?
This may include a paper that has not fit elsewhere, an unconventional project, or an interdisciplinary endeavor, as well as approaches to rhetorics, composition, pedagogy, and more that emphasize freedom and/or play.
The conference recognizes and encourages presenters’ freedom to play with conventional conference presentations and genres.
The conference will be held April 21-22, 2023 at the University of South Carolina Russell House.
