David Whaley-Weems successfully passes dissertation defense

David Whaley-Weems successfully presented his dissertation defense on April 5, 2023, via Zoom. The defense started with David’s presentation, followed by Q&A with the public audience.

His dissertation is titled, “The Erasure of Rural West Texas Voices in Higher Education Institutions.”

His dissertation committee included: Dr. Rhondda Thomas, English (Chair); Dr. David Blakesley, English; Dr. Ufuk Ersoy, Architecture; and Dr. Andrew Pyle, Communication.
