The Big Rhetorical Podcast Fellowship Program
The Big Rhetorical Podcast promotes the work of graduate students on the podcast, particularly through our Emerging Scholar Series. This is a paid opportunity. Payment is $200.
The Big Rhetorical Podcast seeks a graduate student to serve as The Big Rhetorical Podcast Fellow for the 2022-2023 academic year. The Fellow will assist in various aspects of running a podcast. Specifically, the Fellow will help with social media initiatives with the goal of growing TBR Podcast reach and listenership. The Fellow will also help with production, including booking and interviewing for their own episode during Season 8.
Duties May Include:
· Conducting an interview with a TBR Podcast guest
· Contributing to TBR Podcast social media initiatives
· Opportunities to develop creative projects that will enhance TBR Podcast
Applications should come from graduate students with research interests in rhetoric, digital publishing, technical communication, and/or social media.
This is an appointment that runs through the 2022-2023 academic year. The TBR Fellow can expect to work on social media initiatives and help produce one episode for Season 8, all in coordination with the TBR producer. This will include booking and interviewing for the episode.
This is a paid fellowship through our non-profit organization. This Fellowship will give the Fellow experience working with a leading academic podcast, connecting with scholars in rhetoric, writing studies, and adjacent areas, and gaining valuable experience working and producing in the field.
