2023 International Writing Across the Curriculum Conference to be hosted at Clemson University

The 16th International Writing Across the Curriculum (IWAC) Conference will be held in June 2023 at Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. It will take place June 14 through June 17, 2023.

IWAC is a biennial conference for scholars from the United States and abroad to gather together and continue conversations around how writing and language impact student-learning, with a strong emphasis on second-language learners.

You can review the call for proposals now, and registration will open in January 2023. The conference will offer both in-person and virtual attendance options.

Competitive grants will be made available for faculty members in part-time and contingent positions as well as for graduate and undergraduate students. Information will be released at a later date.

The #IWAC2023 Call for Proposals have officially been extended for 30 MORE DAYS! We are looking for unique submissions that address new and existing challenges of the WAC scholarship in the next 50 years. Proposals for both virtual and in-person sessions are encouraged.

The 2023 International Writing Across the Curriculum conference organizers are pleased to announce the availability of registration scholarships to support scholars and practitioners, both national and international, who plan to attend the IWAC 2023 conference in Clemson, South Carolina, held on June 14-17, 2023, regardless of whether or not they will be presenting. More information, including an application, will be distributed in July 2022 with decisions being made in late fall 2022.
