Sheila Dodson Successfully Passes Dissertation Defense!

Sheila Dodson defended her dissertation on July 18th, 2023! 

Her dissertation is titled, “Genealogical Blackness: Listening Rhetorically to Identities, Ancestors, and the Legacies of Slavery in Archival Spaces”

Dodson’s committee included: Dr. David Blakesley, English (Co-Chair); Dr. Abel Bartley, History (Co-Chair); Dr. Frankie Felder, Professor Emerita and Senior Associate Dean, Graduate School; & Dr. Ufuk Ersoy, Architecture.
